Pennsylvania Pastors Network Welcomes American Family Radio’s Sandy Rios to ‘U-Turn’ Conference on March 19

Sandy Rios is one of the most powerful and influential conservative Christian voices today, and she will share her insight and expertise at the upcoming Pennsylvania Pastors Network (PPN, www.papastors.net) “U-Turn” conference on March 19 at Lancaster Bible College.

Rios will join several other speakers for the upcoming PPN conference, titled, “U-Turn: A Roadmap for Renewal—A Conversation with Pastors on Society, Culture and Leadership,” which will equip pastors, lay leaders, church members and all patriots to “Stand in the Gap for Truth.”

“Sandy Rios is one of the most intelligent and sound voices in media today,” said PPN President Sam Rohrer, who is also President of the American Pastors Network (APN, www.AmericanPastorsNetwork.net). “In a culture that has lost its moral plumb line, the only way to renew our nation is to restore the foundation of absolute biblical truth. We are ecstatic to welcome Sandy to the upcoming ‘U-Turn’ conference, and we know that her solid encouragement will motivate pastors, leaders and laypeople across the state to effect real, lasting, cultural change.”

Rios is Director of Governmental Affairs for the American Family Association, one of the largest, most effective pro-family grassroots organizations in the country and hosts “Sandy Rios in the Morning” on American Family Radio.  She also serves as Vice President of Family-Pac Federal and as a conservative columnist.

Rios is also the former president of Concerned Women for America, and frequently appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC. She also guest hosted CNN’s “Crossfire” and joined Fox News as a contributor in 2005. Rios has appeared regularly on “The O’Reilly Factor” as well as with Sean Hannity, Neil Cavuto and Megyn Kelly. Whether defending America’s military, advocating for religious freedom or analyzing presidential politics or the social and moral dilemmas of the day, Rios brings her passion to a wide variety of issues.

The powerful one-day “U-Turn” conference is open to pastors, leaders and laypeople and is specifically designed to answer questions about society, culture and leadership, with a focus on how cultural trends can be strategically impacted with the truths of God’s Word.

Headlining speakers at the “U-Turn” conference are social science researcher George Barna, founder of the Barna Research Group, and historian David Barton of WallBuilders. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who recently left his Fox News television program for a possible run at the U.S. Presidency in 2016, will record a special video message to be shown at the event.

Other confirmed speakers for PPN’s “U-Turn” conference include: pastor, pilot and author Steve Scheibner; Gary Dull of the American Pastors Network; Paul Blair of Reclaiming America for Christ; Jeff Mateer of the Liberty Institute; Pastor Joseph Green, founder of Antioch Assembly; and Sammy Tippit of Sammy Tippit Ministries.

All sessions will be held on Thursday, March 19, at Lancaster Bible College’s Good Shepherd Chapel from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Early bird tickets are available for $29 through Feb. 25. For more information on the conference or to register, visit www.UTurnConference.org.
